Ain’t No Mountain High Enough, Don’t Go Chasing Waterfalls, etc.

There are moments when I realize just how incredible of an experience being a Peace Corps Volunteer is. During my trip to Dindefelo Falls, the largest waterfall in Senegal, with two of my closest friends in Peace Corps, I had quite a few of those moments. After finishing our breakfast sandwiches in the morning, Emma, Andrew, and I started our 35 kilometer bike ride to Dindefelo Falls. Three hours later, we arrived in Dindefelo, the closest village to the waterfall. After treating ourselves to a Gazelle after our long ride, we began the 45 minute hike to the waterfall.
